Open Educational Resources are easily accessible sources that aid in providing simple platforms for learning and researching. There's no exact way to use platforms like this, i.e. Diigo, Khan Academy, etc. so the limits for the consumer are endless and they can extend their education as far as they'd like. The Merlot Blog keeps its readers updated on new learning technology and is run by educators, learners, and researchers so there's a trust that the technology has been used and tested efficiently. The blog can be looked at in depth here: https://www.merlot.org/merlot/index.htm .
